Really not understanding the hate on the Twilight Cleric of late. What did it ever do to you?

The channel divinity in tier 1 is insane. 1d8 temp hp for the whole party, per round, for 10 rounds, plus auto-clearing all charm and fear effects, with no concentration, and not using any action or bonus action after round 1. This is at level 2, mind you. There’s no comparable channel divinity for any other cleric. Since it doesn’t require concentration, for extra ridiculousness stack with Aura of Vitality (which, oh look, they get as a bonus spell).

300 feet of dark vision for the whole party at level 1. Martial weapons and heavy armor. Full caster. Flying ability at level 6. Not to mention Vigilant blessing to make sure you or a creature of your choice always has advantage on initiative rolls.

It’s like the theme is “this character can do everything.”
