Probably specifically for those, like me, who never use or want to use D&D Beyond.Sorry, I updated - you can export and print a D&D Beyond character on paper. So, how is this different?

What do you wish they made for D&D?

Hiya!
Boxed Sets!
Do it up like BECMI. Maybe three boxes; Basic Levels (1 - 5), Expert Levels 6 - 10), Master Levels (11 - 20).
Next, do "adventure paths" (because I seriously don't think they will EVER go back to the best way... individual 30-page adventure modules ala 1e style). Like the 2e ones of The Night Below, Return to the Tomb Of Horrors, Rod of Seven Parts, etc. Nice, big boxes with hand outs, fold out maps, booklets for each 'section', booklet for 'background/setting' type stuff, etc. I'd pay $100 for a good boxed set every year. I've paid $0 for any hard back, nigh-unreadable-glossy-paged 'adventure book' they've put out. Ick. No thanks. Same with all the "optional" books (Xanathars, Volo's, etc; get rid of glossy full-colour interiors and I'd be tempted...but, well, yeah...).

My real pie in the sky is an AR tabletop application. I want 3D terrain and animated minis and spell effects, but NOT a video game.
