I know I'm really hoping for it. Don't think I could ever go back to R20 after using Foundry. I'm assuming it would be easier to fork the 5e system and add to it instead of building a new one from the ground up, which should help speed things along. I've mentioned it in the Foundry Discord before, and really hoping someone goes for it. Def have a game I want to run once it has a system in Foundry.

With the caveat that creating versions of a game for each platform takes months, yes, we've thought about various platforms. At launch we'll have a Roll20 character sheet, and we hope to go on from there in 2022.

Given the open Javascript nature of Foundry specifically, would the team be in support of a community driven development of the System for it so you could focus on platforms where that isn't an option? Or would you rather wait and develop the system yourselves? Not a programmer, can't offer to be part of it, but thought it might be a useful question.

I use Roll20 and am quite happy with it, but I would also like to switch eventually to Foundry. Whenever we finish my current campaign by the end of the year or beginning of next, I would like to have a full Level Up/Foundry reboot.

The Kickstarter doesn’t end until early November. Whatever comes out of it in terms of various VTT platforms, they will take a lot longer than a month to do - likely many months of work. The only thing we know for certain right now is we’ll have a Roll20 character sheet at launch. Right now all our energy is focused on getting the books ready for October.
