A good season finale. I came into this series with no real investment in these characters, but it's left me wanting more. One warning: This is not an episode for claustrophobes.

Like the Clone Wars finale, this one pulls no punches in making the destruction wrought by the Empire feel both large-scale and personal. The sense of pressure and confinement as the city sinks beneath the waves mixed with the sense of sadness as the clones, especially Omega, see their home destroyed is a powerful combination.

Again, I like the way they've handled Crosshair in the finale. He's not controlled or indoctrinated, he just has a different viewpoint than the others. It makes him both tragic and villainous, but it's welcome to see that diversity of perspectives in the clones.

I hope he has a plan, otherwise it's a bit dumb to not accept a lift off a tiny foodless platform on a decimated water world!
yeah. Seemed bone headed. The guys he worked sent someone to spy on him, blew up the base he was on. You'd think he'd get the message that there is no place for him inside the empire.

And for a guy who's killed noncombatants, there's not really a path back except death. Same reason Kylo had to die.

Well, we don't se kaminoan corpses or dead clone-embryos bobbing up to the surface!

I think maybe he's viewing it as a test of the Empire and his own convictions. If they bother to send someone to pick him up when he calls, then they still value him. And if they don't, it doesn't matter that he's doomed, because it means there's no place for him anyway.
