This is exactly my worry. With only one book to go around the table that could be a problem. Its a hard sell for some players who just bought an O5E set of core books when theres a potential for it to be too mechanic heavy for our group and we end up not using a good portion of it.
I think that there’s no rush. Buy a copy for the group. Decide if you like it. Drop in a few elements to try them out, and if the group wants to use it then they can grab their own.

Let’s hope this is a big success and it can move to widespread distribution.

I hope whatever I choose to use from this will be viable to use on dndbeyond. We use that for everything now.
This is how the machines take over. I’m the same with Roll20!

Who needs books when you can get searchable rules windows that can be minimized when you don’t need them!

Though a pdf ruleset will do me just fine for this product for now.

They're working on digital tools, IIRC.

You’d have to ask DnD Beyond about that. For our part, we hope to develop our own full suite of tools (assuming the Kickstarter does well enough for that).

Thats probably what I'll end up doing.

I expect that this will be a "we will see how the kickstarter does" kind of questions - but are gone to do a Level Up patreon, or will In5idere cover for all 5E stuff (Original and LU)?

You are correct in your expectation! What happens after the Kickstarter will very much be determined by what happens during the Kickstarter (which is as it should be -- that's what Kickstarter is for!) :)

A friend in another space was asking if this is official licensed D&D, since it's mentioned in the Kickstarter preview page? I thought this was all built on the SRD... But was not sure?
