Yeah, I've been upvoting Colville and downvoting Gygax primarily on DM advice. This is a DM Survivor, so I rate DM advice as one of the most important parts of how I score them (that is, if I know the DMs). I'm not a fan of a lot of the badwrongfun type nonsense that Gygax said a lot, and some of the more problematic aspects of early D&D, and similar issues. Colville got me to be a DM, his "Running the Game" series is why I love DMing as much as I do, how I learned about D&D history (like the name Vecna coming from Jack Vance), and I really like his enthusiasm and openness about the hobby. If Colville ever goes down while Montgomery Martin remains, I'll probably start upvoting him, as the Dungeon Dudes also have some pretty good DM advice on their Youtube channel.
