Hey, you never know, a Dark Sun "setting in a box" supplement could even include a comprehensive system for psionics.

A man can dream.
I think they’d be more likely to go the route Mike Mearls had been working on a few years back where every class gets one or more psychic-flavored subclasses. But as long as we’re dreaming big, might as well add a psionic subsystem to the wishlist 😜

I mean, you could look at it that way. But on the other hand, 3 times the books means 3 times the content. A lot of folks here have been pretty consistently dissatisfied by the amount of content in recent books, especially “X’s Guide to Y” style books that try to cram player options, DM options, setting info, and monsters all into one book. Make it three books and everything will have proper room to breathe. Maybe include a short adventure path in the DM book for some extra value.
I don't dispute it makes sense, especially for more settings like Dark Sun with a lot of atmosphere and specialized rules needs. But that model of distributing content really feels like that would lock a groups in to a particular setting... unless they've got a lot of spending cash to hop from setting to setting or genre to genre.

But admittedly, it does sound like a plausible approach to restructuring D&D. Maybe it'd be okay for just DarkSun?
Unfortunately, I'm not made of money, so... ugh.

Oh yeah, and a Psionics-focused class, and Psionic roll tables, and Psi-

Probably just gonna go for a psionic subclass for each class though.

If it is 5.5e Fizban's Treasury of Dragons Dragonborn races could be a strong hint at how they will deal with subraces in the 5.5e PHB, aka as seperate races, where previously they would have made Metallic Dragonborn, Chromatic Dragonborn, and Gem Dragonborn as subraces or as optional race variants, instead of completely seperate races. Wondering how it fits into FR lore with Tymanther.

If you go to the UK version of the page it's a little different. Same ISBN, no price, and it's a 145 page hardcover.

Amazon Canada's version has a price and it's very close to the USD to CAD conversion of 165$.
