I was a fan of that one. "2 feats" is really compelling, so I wanted to balance it with something that would be a drawback for pretty much everyone.
Hmm. a technical question. the word 'final' could mean after initial Char Gen or after levelling. Which do you mean here?

@TwoSix - if you wanted to add in an 8th pass to help balance going early, here's some draft picks you could add. Mostly low to mid ticket.
  • Wild 10
  • 2x Wild 9
    • As in, one pick gives you two "Wild 9"s.
  • Swap the stats on two "Ability Score XX" drafts you have.
    • So STR 15 INT 14 WIS 13 might swap STR and WIS, but you couldn't swap DEX since you didn't have a draft for it. No power increase, but allows to go for a concept that has some stat overlap with other players.
  • Three healing potions and +1 to an ability score.
  • Random bonus feat that adds to ability score you choose.
  • Common magic item
  • Expensive spell component(s) totaling up to 300gp for spell(s) you have OR +100gp starting funds.
    • To make sure it's useful for all characters
  • Loyal CR 1 servant/henchling/pet NPC.
  • Mysterious Key. What is it to? No one knows.
    • Or other plot-relevant item to see who is the choosen inheritor/whatever for a particular plot arc.

Specifically, after all stats are assigned at the end of the draft. You can still use ASIs and racials on Con after that.

So am I correct in my assessment that there will be no left over choices once we've all had 7 picks? Like being the last person I am stuck with whatever is left?

I think it is better for there to be more things on the board than there are choices.

Hmm, that's a fair point. I don't really want to change the board in the middle of selections, but I'll keep it in mind in the future.

I'm heading to bed in a few minutes, so one last call for @akr71.

If no pick is made when I wake up, I'll make a commissioner's pick so we can move on.

Not to mention, for the draft order to have real symmetry, you need an even amount of rounds.

Oh yeah, I didn't suggest you change it now. But yeah, I'd rather choose between a handful of poor choices than been stuck with a singular poor choice.
