D&D General trying to describe a player aberration appearance?

I need to know if this description is adequate for a player aberration.

a three-eyed face with a great sized cranium lacking a nose instead having a set of antenna above the two eyes that end with large strange bulbs.
having four cheek tentacles the sit above the mouth known for writhing when pleased.
a body covered in chitin and strange clammy skin
possessing four arms with six digits, four fingers and two thumbs
possessing long legs with an almost a toe pattern that makes it look like they have a crescent moon of toes.
they come in a variety of colours other bright secondary colours or metallic shades for their chitin.

a body covered in chitin and strange clammy skin

Is it a mix of chitin and skin?

Like some chitin plates or protrusions (bumps or spikes) that do not cover the whole body so there are portions that have clammy skin instead of exoskeleton?

I am getting a humanoid/insect hybrid vibe from the six limbs, antennae, and chitin.

This is thrown off a little with the skin and face tentacles.

Tentacles. LOTS and LOTS of Tentacles.

And probably no tags: otherwise your gonna be getting a lot of looks from your players unless they are somehow cool with that.

yes

the large head and tentacles are for a more octopus look
any recommendations to make it more alien?

I get a picture in my mind when reading the description, except the part about the feet. Also mention how large or small they are compared to something normal or concrete, like humans.

My players would likely attack them though.

It depends upon what type of aberration. Is it somethong from the far realms that came through a portal? A nightmare given flesh shape? A corrupted human? A corrupted textbook?

If you're looking for creepy, then less is more. I'd go with a regular human with some subtle or hidden changes that are unseen at first, but give you pause - and I'd do as much with how they act as I would with what they look like.

Also, changes should not just be cosmetic. Give them a mechanical significance so that they're not just forgotten. It doesn't need to be powerful - just present and significant enough that it comes up here and there.
