D&D General I know it's not Christmas yet, but this D&D advent calendar...

So, recapping, I fell for it and ordered the “Regular” and “Deluxe” models. I received two identical, cheap-looking “Seahawks” calendars (plastic containers with a poorly printed Seahawks logo sheet pasted over it, with 24 perforated “windows”). I then began a Heroic Quest to get my money back!
Well, the company did actually answer emails, offering me 20%, then 40%, then 50% of my money back (plus I could keep their crappy items). I refused and went to PayPal. Filed dispute on November 2nd, had to go through several steps…

HUZZAH! PayPal came through and I got my money back November 27th. Yay PayPal!

So now we started opening the two “Seahawks” calendars… December 2nd now, so far got a tiny rubber bird keychain, two miniature Smurf figurines (Grumpy Smurf, and a clown Smurf), and a tiny figure of Phoenix Suns player Devin Booker. Incredibly random!

Still, now that it hasn’t cost me anything (we’ll, only about $2 because of the different $US/CAN conversion rate from when I bought to when I got a refund), we’re going to try to enjoy the bizarre items each day. Plus the actual containers will hold 24 miniatures.

Devin Booker plays a surprisingly large role in my Ravenloft game

I also fell for it and bought 2 "deluxe" sets. I received my order a couple weeks ago and did get the proper D&D themed ones.

They are sooo bad though...

They used the Dungeons & Dragons movie poster for the cover on the boxes.

I can sorta see what is clearly an Animal Crossing sticker in one of the slots through the back of the box.

I pre-emptively opened one of the doors and got a bunch of tiny, rubber dinosaurs...told my husband we could still use them in game somehow, like if someone were to summon a bunch of tiny, cat-sized dinosaurs I guess.
I love the idea of a campaign with tiny, cat-sized dinosaurs and I might steal the idea as we are in the same boat. My dear sweet husband bought one each of these turkeys for our teen son and me. We are now drowning in tiny, rubber dinosaurs. Even the 8yo super acquisitive little sister, who usually steals everything of value from her older sibs, has declined the latest "treasure" of yet another plastic egg filled with dinosaurs. The teen has decided that we should make a giant jello mold and put the dinos in it and bring it to the annual family holiday party with a sign that says "allergen warning: contains dinosaurs."

So, I actually did get something. Surprise, surprise, it was NOT D&D related, but it is actually an advent calendar.

It is in a craft organizer (the type you can change the size of the compartments) and sealed with a Pitsburgh Penguins overlay with punch-holes for the various days. Inside each day's box is a different dollar store toy. There is no theme . . . Smurfs, college mascots, hot wheels, Baby Groot, etc. It is actually a fun randomized advent calendar, just not worth nearly the amount I spent on it.

When it has all been opened, I'll try to remember to take a picture.

So this is NOT a scam. LOL

I can post more pics once I open it but it took nearly 3 months to arrive from China. Now, is it legit? Heck no it’s not, but we’ll see what the quality is like and if it was worth the $60.00

"More pics"? I can't see them. Any pics will be interesting.

Goblin Queen (She/Her/Hers)
Sketchy is giving it too much credit. Over half of the days had little eggs you would bet from a gumball machine with tiny dinosaurs inside. The figurines were cheap and had multiples of the same ones and no dice. Cheap and very disappointing.
You actually bought it? I’m surprised you got anything other than your identity stolen.
