10. Batman 66 (we are actually including this one?)
Absolutely, and the fact that you ask the question is the reason why. We've now gotten like five film iterations of the particular take on Batman where he is hyper-brooding, wears all black, usually lacks an underage sidekick, and basically is "edgy". And I love some of those movies, but its been done, it's been done again, it's been done to death, and I object to broody Batman becoming so definitively all that Batman is allowed to be that he completely supplants the Batman who could dance the batusi (just like I would object to that same swinging 60s Batman completely supplanting, say, 40s Nazi punching Batman). This world is big enough for all the Batmen.

I rewatched the '40s Nazi punching Batman, not too long ago. Can't remember if it was on Prime or Tubi but more likely the latter, because that's where I watched the old Captain Marvel serial of the same vintage.

Whoa am I in a serious minority on this :D

1: Batman & Robin, Forever
2: Burton/Keaton duology
3: DCEU movies
4: anything I forgot
10: Dark Knight Trilogy
Yes, yes you are. I checked Batman and Robin out from my local library. No money spent… and I couldn’t sit through it, I thought it was so bad.

Having Seen it (The Batman), I'll do a re-rank of it now...

1. Batman (1989)
2. The Batman
3. Batman Begins
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batman Forever (It's corny, but I like it's portrayal of Robin, which is a key element of Batman many films miss).
6. The Dark Knight (it's just too long. It overstays the enjoyment for me).
7. Justice League
8. Batman Returns
9. Batman vs. Superman
10. Batman & Robin
11. Batman 66 (we are actually including this one?)

Pretty good movie overall.
