D&D 5E why has none of the wisdom races caught on?

I’d been typing up my post for a while and looking up images so no I hadn’t seen Vale’s post when I posted that

I dunno ‘humanoid plant’ is quite iconic IMO, I’d be leaning more to the deku side of things than the Pokemon side of things, the images you posted are a little too monstrous and overdesigned for my tastes personally

They don’t have to be a monoculture i was just suggesting potential ideas that weren’t just ‘tree people’ though i agree about the ranger-druid-cleric general class focus though barbarian wouldn’t go awry with the last ‘survival of the fittest’ concept for them.
I see that we have four primary classes for a wisdom based race to work with we could have half of it done so on to monk and cleric?
I say we lean into the sensory suggestion for several pages back to make them iconic amongst the plant folk ideas?
Maybe a "living spell" like Ensnare or Wall of Thorns, statting as a race?
that only really works as a one-off unless you have an idea I do not?

Go onto what about monk and cleric?
Sensory suggestion? Sorry I don’t know which post/idea you’re referring to or what you mean by ‘make them iconic amongst the plant folk’

Deku have already been done so got to add in something else to the pot to make them more iconic.

one poster mentioned using senses as part of a theme for a wisdom race as wisdom has to do with the perception skill.

Do you mean they’ve already been done in DnD already of just tgat they’re already an existing conceptual idea? Assorted elves, dragon people and part-demon/fiend aren’t exactly original ideas and they’re still popular, plant people don’t need a whole bunch of super special gimmicks in order to be iconic, I made suggestions of what they could have earlier (though admittedly yes i can see how inherent goodberry for a race would get abused to no end)

deku are a concept that exists so making things just like it is a copyright nightmare.

personally, I would suggest three eyes and four arms but I tried that and got no takers.
more art I can find.
