D&D 5E What D&D Product Can Be Seen In The Crystals?

WotC has posted an image of a pile of crystals through which distorted glimpses of what looks like a product can be seen. In the comments below, folks have been flipping, enhancing, and generally squinting at the image behind the crystals, and while it's hard to make out, guesses include 'Journey Through the Radiant Ocean' (although I personally think that first letter looks more like an X or K than a J). 'Citadel' is also a popular guess for that last word--'Journey(s) to/from the Radiant Citadel'? Take a look and see what you think (or check the comments for flipped and enhanced versions).

In Spelljammer lore, the phlogiston--the space between the crystal spheres in which the prime material worlds can be found--is also known as the 'Rainbow Ocean'. And crystal seem on-brand for crystals spheres.

Below the text, the image appears to be of some kind of marketplace. Above it, WotC wrote "Through the depths of the Ethereal Plane is a beacon of possibility and adventure... "

There was apparently a press event today, pending some kind of product announcement on Tuesday.

I didn't even mention the obvious: Sardior was a ruby dragon who lived in a ruby citadel, and those crystals the image is reflected in are red, like rubies.

Yeah whatever it is I think it's related to Sardior too. Maybe dispite being "dead" we will get an Aspect of Sardior.

If it was an adventure set or something, imagine if that ended up being the main goal of it: Reassembling Sardior and then in 5.5 or 6E, it ends up getting mentioned in Sardior's updated background lore.

Do you think those yellow circles are planescape faction symbols?

I had assumed it meant either Tavern or Alchemist's/Apothecary Shop, because it looks like either a stylized beer bottle or a potion bottle.

Something just hit me: What if the "revisit" isn't actually a setting book?

If this has the possibility of being an adventure anthology, what if it's a set of adventures set within another setting? Eberron maybe?

My prediction: we are about to get a box set of Spelljammer with a setting booklet and an adventure booklet. We are looking at the distorted image of the adventure cover.

Alright, so the DNDLeaks Subreddit moderators have confirmed the leak (the user was willing to share details with them in private message, but not post anything publicly identifiable).

So we can say with moral certitude that this is a non-Spelljammer, non-Dragonlance Adventure compilation, and we will see seperate Spelljammer and Dragonlance books later this year.

Not terribly uncommon, no.

Very common. The window (of whatever length) is to give outlets a chance to prep their own news stories about the announcement, so that these can all come out on the same day for a media blitz.
