Is there going to be a digital version of the battle game to facilitate online groups who want to run the mass battle scenarios as part of their play through of the adventure?

I wouldn't be surprised if they had got that idea. The gamers who play wargames are a potential market, and somebody could make a lot of money with a virtual tabletop to play wargames, not only one title, but by different companies. And an app could help for faster games if (house) rules are too complex.

There is nothing currently announced, but it does seem like a bit of a no-brainer for the digital arm. I'm not particularly interested in the Dragonlance setting (I like the new GoT art direction though), but I would like a system to resolve mass battles in D&D, and I would prefer digital, since Lucy my cat likes to get involved in tabletop games and eat the plastic orcs.

If there was a crossover between Dragonlance and Magic: Gathering (then we should see fabulous pictures of the characters) how to explain planewalkers in Krynn? Maybe they start in Absalon, after go to Taladas, and in the end they return to some far place in Absalon for the climatic final encounter.

How can we know if the wargame "Warriors of Krynn" to become enoughly a success? When the fandom started to publish their homebred ideas, maybe based in FR factions, or other worlds, for example the Scarlet Brotherhood in Greyhawk.

Kenders spellcasters shouldn't be fobidden, only to be not mentioned. What if I want a spellthief kender? Or a druid kender who is friend with all forest little animals, like a Disney princess.

You know, the War of the Lance would make an excellent Magic card Set. They wouldn't even need to upset the canonical apple cart, plot wise.

In prior D&D crossovers, Planeswalkers are just used to signify particular creatures or characters of note that have the ability to transcned their plane or whose reach extends well beyond their home plane (such as Mordenkainen, Bahamut, Lolth, and Zariel). It's a much lower bar to clear than the typical MtG interpretation of having a spark, and all the rules attached to that.

It seems that Weis and Hickman were not consulted in the development of 5E Dragonlance, and Weis is unhappy about Kender being Feywild-ified.

This, coupled with Jeff Grubb also being unaware of Spelljammer being revived, worries me a bit.

Like I said Arrogance is setting in. Next they won't consult Ed when doing the next FR Campaign setting book. I don't like that they have so little respect for living setting creators.
