There are a few o5e archetypes that don't have a proper LU equivalent. Like, one of the sample characters I made way back during the playtest days was an Echo Knight (she had the Circusfolk background and her echos were rainbow colored). And one of my players wouldn't be able to convert his existing character because he's playing a Sun Soul monk and that's actually a big aspect of his character. As a GM, I get where your coming from OP. As a player, why would you 'not' want to run the new classes. There's so much more there to make playing fun lol.
The o5e subclasses can be used with the LU classes though. Why can't you convert those over? There are a few o5e archetypes that don't have a proper LU equivalent. But for the more standard types of archetypes that do have LU equivalents, the LU versions are usually much more interesting, IMO.
Oh, you can use them just fine. They're just not quite the same. The o5e subclasses can be used with the LU classes though. Why can't you convert those over?
Well, my players are still quite new to D&D, and I want to give them a taste of the game before I start introducing too much new stuff on their side.As a GM, I get where your coming from OP.
