tashas when it came out. I've bought all of the "rules" type books, Volos and Morden, none of the adventurers or other supplements, not going to buy the new monster book.

Looking through the official releases on Wikipedia, it looks like my last purchase was Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, released Nov 2020.
Seems like maybe from 2020, they slowed down releases - maybe the economy, COVID, or the edition wearing down?
Actually, they've increased the rate of releasing books.

The last one I bought was MotM a couple months ago, preordser in for Radiant Citadel and Spelljammer.

I'm primarily a DNDB purchaser right now, but I intend to have a complete shelf of second-hand 5E by the time this edition is in its twilight.

I buy them, but not all of them, not immediately upon release, and not in any particular order but my whim.
Thus the last book I got was Volo's Guide to Monsters in February because I found it on sale for significantly cheaper than original price.

I used to buy pretty much every setting/compilation as it came out, and most of the adventures that interested me. Covid wrecked my regular games, and the result was that I reduced my buying down to zero and even reversed it, selling unused books once I had made peace with the fact that I was never going to run them. I kept Strahd out of nostalgia, but most every other adventure has been flogged on ebay.

The last purchase that I kept and intend to keep is the special edition of Van Richten's. I will also pick up Spelljammer for reasons of nostalgia and because it's Goddamn Spelljammer and hope that maybe I will run it at some point. I'm umming and ah-ing about Radiant Citadel - because it looks great - but I'm not sure there's much point picking it up because I am unlikely ever to actually use it.
