D&D Movie/TV Here's The D&D Movie Trailer!

"Who needs heroes when you have thieves?" The movie arrives March 3rd, 2023. Here's the trailer! When they said it was inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy, they weren't kidding! We have dragons, owlbears, mimics, gelatinous cubes, quips, and more!



There was also a clip shown at San Diego Comic Con where the party cast speak with dead, and got to ask five questions. Also, apparently, the D&D cartoon characters from the 80s have a cameo!

Watching the trailer again, I think you're right. It's most evident in the escape-the-guards scene about a minute in. Plus, it might be my imagination, but I think they pitch-shifted her voice a little.

I am cautiously optimistic. But I know a guy who would have watched that owlbear scene repeatedly. He passed last year. Damn.

Now that I think about all the owlbear love, I now have higher hopes.

Definitely looks promising... Love all the classic D&D monsters on display here, the effects look OK, and the acting looks spot on. Reminds me a lot of the OG Guardians of the Galaxy in a good way.

However... My main worry is the script. I hope it's as solid as OG Guardians. If it is, I think it can be successful. If it's nonsensical/confusing/boring... Then it'd be relegated to the long history of awful D&D adaptations.

Yeah I know what the coins are called, I just wanted it clear for anyone not in the know that Hugh grant wasn’t using a strength of 30+ to suplex a dragon though that would be sweet
