Spelljammer Dark Sun confirmed? Or, the mysterious case of the dissappearing Spelljammer article...

You can do both, don't have to be exclusive to one or the other!
I think they ought to make Greyhawk in a lush big book style! Realistically, I'm on the fence if I think that will really happen.

No, they donhabe to be exclusive, but we all have different desires, but WotC isn't going to follow through on something just because someone wants it, it has to be good brand management with a reasonable expectation of ROI.

Because the principles behind Arcane magic are fairly well known scientifically, and predictable. The principles behind Divine magic (if indeed there are any) are not.
I really miss when there was a difference in D&D between different kinds of magic, when arcane and divine were meaningful words.

Of course, in my game, there still is.

The decoupling of the fiction from the mechanics is one of the great accomplishments of modern Dungeons & Dragons. I can just rename Clerics as "White Mages" Final Fantasy style, and...it doesn't change the mechanics any. Complete freedom.

You are unflappable. Its really quite impressive. Is there anything anyone can say about WotC or the current state of the game that you won't claim is a positive?
