I wonder how we get the Takihisis promo miniature.
Currently the only way to get the promo Takhisis is from a retailer (we don't know if there will be a Takhisis or Lord Soth in an alternate sculpt in the core set -- these are iconic minis so I would be disappointed if they were only available as a promo).

For every case a retailer orders of the Dragonlance minis (32 boosters), they get a free promo mini of Takhisis to provide as a customer incentive item. They are expressed prohibited from selling the promo miniature directly, however some retailers do sell them contrary to this.

While many retailers will give you the promo if you order/buy a case from them -- not all do, and some will still charge you an extra amount if you want the mini. Other retailers will offer you the mini if you buy a certain $ value of items from them (which is one of the permitted ways they are to be used).

Some of these "retailer promos" will trickle their way to eBay as well, so keep an eye out for there for one. Prices are all over the place for these promos, usually averaging between $25 to $50. I anticipate these Dragonlance promos will sell for a ridiculously high price on eBay.

Whoops! I meant "If the render was accurate to the final product," not "If MG was accurate in what they posted"! (I love you guys!)
Thanks Arnie. The sculpt of the render is usually exactly how the mini will appear, although some of the finer details may not be as well defined. However, the painting of each mini is pretty random so who knows how closely the mini you receive will be painted to look like the one rendered. With this mini mainly just being painted with black and gold, if they don't do something creative with washes or drybrushing, this mini could look pretty poorly painted.

Yup. I bought a full set of Legends of Golarion. Talk about "random" painting. ¯\(ツ):D
