This is a weird tone to take and a weirder accusation(?) to make in the context of a just for fun popularity contest.
Not really. In the other threads people have jumped in late, but not 4 people when it comes down to the wire have been 1st-time voters. Like I said, it could be people watching and chiming in to get it over with? Of course, there are other possibilities... 🤷‍♂️

Yep..plenty of other possibilities.. for example.. it could be that new threads don't trigger notifications....you participate in just for fun threads for the fun of it..and a few days worth of life can happen between when you voted in the last thread and when you remember that there might be another one.

Or maybe most folks have deep emotional investments in these threads that warrants "suspicious" behavior to deliver results.

Sure, or maybe someone was on vacation and didn't have internet access (maybe they wanted to "unplug", etc.)?

Could be... :cautious: ;)

So, like I said, not really weird or anything. As a mathematician I enjoy tracking the votes to see trends, strategies, etc. as they unfold. And four people jumping in at the end is unusual.

None of the ones left enthuse me. Soul Knife is the only name that I can really link with a psionic/psychic class like the Mystic is supposed to be.

As others have commented, the Wu Jen should be a Wizard variant (at least the name should be, maybe not the content), and the others come across more as names for backgrounds (Nomad), or just don't have a psionic flavour to my mind (Immortal).

Cheers :)
Genuine question (for you and others): Is your problem with the Nomad that you find its name dull, or that you find its mechanics poor?

Because if voting were based around the name my choices would have been quite a bit different. Nomad is, as you say, a dull name. (Though is "Fighter" any better? Everyone "fights" in D&D!) But the mechanics are better and more interesting than most of the other options available here, without stepping on the toes of other classes like Wu Jen does.
