The 224 page book has 7 chapters and 5 appendices:

I have to agree. The adventure really has nothing to do with them.

Or they're just not needed to be mentioned since they're not involved in the plot?

I assume there's a mistake on the table of contents and page 25 is where they describe Krynnish orcs.

I find this very exciting. I like the distribution of the various chapters. 14-15 pages of history. 14-15 pages on race and class options. Approximately 150 pages of adventures (divided into 6 chapters), a few pages on equipment and items, 20 pages of friends, foes, and sidekicks, plus concept art and maps!

The adventure looks like it really puts PCs through the ringer. Evidently, home burns and the PCs become vengeful refugees... I like it!

This is quite a different structure from the Eberron, Theros, or Wildemount. It's structured more like Storm King's Thunder, Icewind Dale, or Princes of the Apocalypse.

Man oh man, I hope the maps are good.

Interesting that the pronunciation guide isn't until page 42. In the past they've put it at the front.

No huge surprises to me, but I was hoping they'd mention minotaurs as a race option since they were so awesome on Krynn. I guess they wanted to keep player race choices to what would most likely be a group opposing the Dragonarmies at that time.

It's especially interesting given that one of the first UA articles had Krynnish minotaurs as a playable race option.

Also as much as I disagree with adding stuff like tiefling or orc, I do completely see the point that if you're going to remove stuff you should probably add replacement options to keep people happy.
