D&D 5E D&D 2022 Overview - Did you purchase any of the books?

I actually didn't get any of the official books this year. I think my last official purchases were Wild Beyond the Witchlight last year and D&D Essentials Kit for my nephew.
But I did kickstart Skerples' Monster Overhaul and EN Publishing's Dungeon Delver's Guide by Paul Hughes.
Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse was a hard pass – I have VGtM and MToF, and the "revised" stat block didn't showcase anything substantially new or creative.
I'm not the audience for the Critical Role book.
Radiant Citadel looks interesting – but I've been doing a bunch of one-shots from converted Dungeon articles and experimenting with other RPGs (OSE, Mage Against the Machine, Skate Wizards, Beyond the Wall, Blades in the Dark, Tiny Dungeon), and that's been pretty much all my gaming time.
I heard mixed things about Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, and initially called my FLGS to put in my order, but they weren't taking orders yet. Then I got busy and starting reading reviews and... there was enough negatives in those reviews to really rain on my parade. Maybe if it goes on sale at some point I'll consider it.
Dragonlance seems to have a similar problem to Spelljammer – they're mostly "one and done" adventures, and as far as getting long-term use out of them, I don't know, sort of seems like they don't have much meat on their bones. We'll see!
Fingers crossed that Planescape next year is going to be awesome!

The dragonlance book is really just an adventure with a little bit of setting info to get you into the theme of the adventure. You shouldn't look at it like a campaign setting if that is what you were thinking. If you look at it that way it really has a lot of "meat on its bones" for an adventure.

Interesting that DL is trailing as I really think it was the best product this year, and I am not a dragon lance fan!
