Why I'm not boycotting the movie, video games, comic books or novels over the OGL scandal, just D&DB & hardcovers.

And with that attitude, it won’t.

The key to successful political action is organization. This absolutely could happen, if we take steps now to start organizing.
Yeah, but I also don't want that to happen. I want to watch the movie in peace.

I don't see the point of keeping up the protests given that they are already walking back the stuff that was objectionable.

LOL.

"Well they're still going to shoot us sir, but they're now going to bury the bodies respectfully instead of putting our heads on spikes, so I say we surrender!".

Yes, that’s exactly the point. The object of a protest is to disrupt the peace, to make the problem something people who don’t know or care about it have to take notice.

They are not walking back the stuff that was objectionable. The number one concern was the removal of OGL 1.0, which they’ve made clear they still plan to do. We also don’t know what the wording of the new license will be, so we don’t know if what they’ve said they’ll do with it will hold true in any practical sense (which I very much doubt it will.)

Yeah but I don't want you to do that. Honestly this OGL outrage has become a bore and I am tired of seeing it.

I don't care about keeping 1.0. It does not affect anyone at this point anyway as the other companies are moving away and only they would have been affected by the changes in the first place.
