WotC WotC general D&D survey just went live.

Thanks! That sounds manageable.
Took me 20 minutes, but still ok. Also: that German translation of the survey was pretty bad (admittedly, that matches the books of the current edition) - immediately went back and switched to English.

It's nice to see the survey finally acknowledges the existence of other game systems. Would have been nice if Savage Worlds, Dungeon Crawl Classics or Year Zero titles were listed there, but I guess they still need room for improvement for the next survey ;)

I got a question that basically boiled down to "why you no buy Dragonlance?"

For the same reason other people didn't buy Witchlight, Strixhaven or Radiant Citadel, all of which I did purchase: It just wasn't for me.

I sure hope no one at WotC is trying to create a product line-up where every player and DM will purchase every book, because they're being set up for failure.

I really wanted a question to ask me why I didn't buy Dragonlance.... :(

You don't still have the price stickers on your old books?!?

My 1e PHB and DMG were gifts. No stickers. If there was one on my MM, it must have peeled off easily.

More sad is that MM has gone missing. I recently moved my gaming library, and the MM wasn't with its siblings. A few other books are missing in action as well. Goodness only knows where they've gotten too.

They seem confused. They asked when I last bought 5e products, over a year ago. Then ask where I purchased official D&D products, Drivethrurpg recently no less. Then ask why I have not purchased any D&D products in the last year—I did, just not 5e products.
