<waking up from work> Hmmmmm, should I speculate with wild abandon about the teaser or wait until the show on Tuesday... <stretches fingers> The smoke ring is really a reference to the mists of Ravenloft and not Sigil, anyone could tell that by just looking at it... Also, why did they use Russet potatoes, don't they know are they inferior to red or gold potatoes... </sarcasm>

More seriously, yeah they will likely announce whatever Planescape product is in the pipeline. On the Greyhawk front I doubt they would do Castle Greyhawk but I do believe something World of Greyhawk in 2024 isn't out of the running, it makes sense to do one on the anniversary... WotC doesn't have the rights to the original Blackmoor but I guess could set a Greyhawk adventure in their version of it. Not very likely as they already did Rhyme of the Frost Maiden recently.

I noticed for books the core books (likely D&D One reference), Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tyranny of Dragons, no clue about the egg, no one has mentioned the spider that was right before the egg (could be related, a reference to the Drow?), I agree about the Ring of Steam being a Planescape reference unless a 1D&D LotR book is coming .

I think Tyranny of Dragons will be referred to in the movie, we might get to see, Tyranny of Dragons could also be the adventure they are running for the VTT demo.

Xanathar's Guide to Everything could be a hint that certain subclasses will end up in 1D&D PHB.

I don't think we will get any new unannounced books for next year, that will likely be a Wizard's Presents with MtG like as year where most of this year's line up got announced (except for some reason the major MtG set Commander Masters, which will make a fortune this year, got skipped).

Nothing that hinted at Deck of Many Things, although maybe the Spider and the Egg are hints of the plot of the that Campaign.

I imagine we learn about Giants, the Phandelver campaign and Planescape. There will be some teasers about the VTT and new digital features coming. I imagine they will also release the next playtest packet and pimp that a bit. Finally they will have a tease of a surprise being unveiled at Gen-Con or some such about anniversary plans.
I do not think we will see any Greyhawk or Blackmoor products next year.
If they surprise us at all, I think it will be a reveal of a massive overhaul of DDB that will roll out soon after.

This feels like a stretch.

Or just…the primary image that is used to indicate D&D .

If the core books are Xanathar’s have anything to do with OneDnD I am 90% certain it’s just a reminder that XGtE will still be a legal supplement for the game as published after the 2024 5e core books come out.

Maybe a new trailer, or an adventure linked with the plot of the movie.

I can't be a new setting because Planescape hasn't be released yet, and we don't know ever the possible new PC species.

They know with the UA playtest we can guess any idea about the future titles.

Any crazy theory by me? Maybe some partnership with Epic Games about Fortnite or the new Unreal Editor. If with this software players can create their own VTTs, then WotC should worry, but they reached a licence partnership or something like this.
