I've just thought of a what-if scenario regarding illegitimate children, adopted children and inheritance in DAD. that's both very unusual and very plausible. Your thoughts

If A Country has laws that allow illegitimate children to inherit but not adopted children if A Noble that adopted A Child to be his playmate has suffered the loss of what he believes is his only biological child learns that his adopted son is actually his illegitimate son could the kid be allowed to inherit

You're asking us to interpret inheritance laws that don't actually exist. There is no set of D&D laws that apply across the board.

If the laws of your fictitious country allows illegitimate children to inherit, I don't see a problem with it. If they don't, it won't work. But it's all down to what you say the laws are.

There is no definitive answer to your question. You put this as a D&D question, but the D&D ruleset has nothing to do with this.

It can work however you want. We are not there, playing in this setting. The real world has had loads of various inheritance traditions, so pick one, or make one up.
