I'm selflishly hoping the Lankhmar 5E booklet that Goodman Games put out earlier this year does so well that it justifies a similar book for Dying Earth. Gimme those spells and vatborn and tables that help with Vance-isms.

I am totally not going to lie though: I will be pretty much just jacking the classes from it, Magician, Vat-Born, Wayfarer, and Witch, for non Dying Earth games and just for "regular" DCC games/modules such as Crypt of the Devil Lich, Purple Planet, Empire of the East 2nd Printing, Plague Road, The Chained Coffin, Against the Atomic Lord, The One who Watches Below, and other modules I'm interested in from Goodman Games.

I never read or heard of any of the Dying Earth books and what not until the Kickstarter for Dying Earth had already happened. So, the setting isn't really high on my list.

The next DCC related thing I'll probably get next is the Lankhmar DCC boxed set. Some of its modified rules, such as Fleeting Luck and its rules involving Healing if you don't have Healing Magic seem pretty neat.

I'm a bit saddened that the Chained Coffin DCC Adventure #88 Hardcover seems to be sold out or being sold for a decently high price.

I don’t get the appeal of the chained coffin. I must admit I haven’t looked closely at it.
