Yes, it's a gross move. Doing some good things doesn't remove all the absolutely horrible things they have done and what they represent in this country. I'm not telling other people what to do with their money, but I will not support a company who utilizes an organization like that if they don't make it abundantly clear that they've made a mistake and wont' do so again.

Great. First, make sure you actually know who uses Pinkerton (and their parent company). Go on. Do it. We can wait for righteous indignation and names …. Trust me, it will be fun!

Then, do a little research and find out that Pinkerton is not even close to the worst.

Ah yes, the "there are worse, so you shouldn't be upset about this other thing" argument. It's a fan favorite response whenever people have a complaint about something bad, and it's still not a great outlook to have.

Nobody has to be personally offended by my being disgusted by this. Everyone is free to make their own choice. If WotC is of the opinion that there was nothing wrong in this action, I'm moving elsewhere with my money. That's all.

Well, maybe you’d get more productive responses by showing that you know something as opposed to labeling disagreement with your position as a “fan favorite response.”
