Monks are a maybe. Yes, we haven't seen them. Yes, it would make sense. But they said monks would be "soon" and when talking about the next playtest packet they only confirmed the reworked experts and priests. So Monks might be delayed

PHB 24 = Tasha's 2.0. while I don't dislike any specific changes (save wild shape somehow surviving) I can certainly say it feels like a culmination of various updates (1st level feats, Tasha options and species rules) and a few new ideas (spell lists, weapon mastery).

They really didn't, though? Particularly based on what Crawford was saying in the videos attached, and in the survey response videos. This was what theybpromised all along.
