I didn't put any in, in hindsight. Int 13 seems like the way to go, though. Insight for the skill.Speaking of Multiclass Esper... Am I blind or what are the Multiclass rules for Esper?
I think she was planning on working something for martial characters.@Steampunkette what's next for you? Any fun stuff you'd like to give us insight into? Based on Paranormal Power, I'd very much be inclined to back/buy your next project, unless it's something totally not interesting to me (example: another dragons book)
Works for me!If one wants Esper to be really flexible, how about:
"Light Armor Proficiency plus either Medium Armor Proficiency or one Esper Skill"
since not all Esper got Insight

Yup! Working on Martial Artistry. Including some new damage-centric Flourishes and Aegises for the Savant, new combat-oriented archetypes for non-martial characters (not Bladesinger but kinda Bladesingy), four new martial traditions (Duskwood Sniper, Inquisitor's Brand, Serpent's Grip, and Thundering Bombard)... Guns. Other stuff.I think she was planning on working something for martial characters.
The first martial tradition sounds like it was made for an O5e Gloomstalker Ranger who has the Archery Fighting Style. The Inquisitor's Brand tradition makes me think of PF1's Inquisitor class. Inquisitor – d20PFSRD I am guessing this martial tradition is for Clerics who are feeling a little roguish. Thundering Bombard for the Artificer class? Or for the Fighter (Gunslinger)? Fighter: Gunslinger (HB) - DND 5th Edition Serpent's Grip- something the Nedraz to play with?four new martial traditions (Duskwood Sniper, Inquisitor's Brand, Serpent's Grip, and Thundering Bombard)..
sounds very much like a tradition focused on long range/stealthy weapon use. like "hang off a tree by your legs while you snipe a dude 600 feet away with a longbow" type stuff. The first martial tradition sounds like it was made for an O5e Gloomstalker Ranger who has the Archery Fighting Style.
my guess is a lot of lockdown/marking stuff. The Inquisitor's Brand tradition makes me think of PF1's Inquisitor class. Inquisitor – d20PFSRD I am guessing this martial tradition is for Clerics who are feeling a little roguish.
i mean, obviously it's about guns, but i can't help but feel like it's going to be a very aggressive ranged-focused tradition. stuff like rocket jumping or shooting people into other people or bullets through multiple people or shooting stuff (maybe even spells?) out of the air to detonate it early.Thundering Bombard for the Artificer class? Or for the Fighter (Gunslinger)? Fighter: Gunslinger (HB) - DND 5th Edition
the vibe i got was grappling type stuff. like, maybe preventing certain types of actions/spell components, or being able to negate and/or travel with a target's teleport if you have them grappled.Serpent's Grip- something the Nedraz to play with?
Or hanging out of the dimension pocket, you created with your Rope Trick spell, by your legs while sniping away.like "hang off a tree by your legs while you snipe a dude 600 feet away with a longbow" type stuff.
oh my god. oh MY GOD. HOLY +@(^ THAT IS SUCH AN EVOCATIVE IMAGE HOLY $#!% I WANNA DO THAT SO BAD NOW.Or hanging out of the dimension pocket, you created with your Rope Trick spell, by your legs while sniping away.
