I agree! The idea of werevultures and the Harrowing Hunt sound exciting!

So this moved the needle from "meh" to "moderately curious". It looks like you could design a campaign around this like you could the Rod of Seven Parts. Still not sure if I need it, but it's cooler than that blurb made it out to be.

- @pukunui the Paladin on the cover ia a new character, a Human Paladin named Asteria who is apparently autistic and the creator of the Deck of Many Things, thus the NPC viewpoint for the Book
- 14 of the new Cards are Monsters...one for each Creature type. Whivh probably means we'll see at least one new Monster for each type.

Tying the cards to Netherese lore is new and, honestly, kind of off-putting.
If you're going to splash this much Forgotten Realms all over the place, WotC, concentrate it into a setting book where people who want it can get it all in one place.
