  • @pukunui the Paladin on the cover ia a new character, a Human Paladin named Asteria who is apparently autistic and the creator of the Deck of Many Things, thus the NPC viewpoint for the Book
  • 14 of the new Cards are Monsters...one for each Creature type. Whivh probably means we'll see at least one new Monster for each type.

The original cards will be there, but they're adding new extra cards for more variety.
Tying the cards to Netherese lore is new and, honestly, kind of off-putting.

If you're going to splash this much Forgotten Realms all over the place, WotC, concentrate it into a setting book where people who want it can get it all in one place.
