Again

until some one writes down what the 10th level and higher class features of the non-magical ranger are, you will not get want you want.

For example, I want a nonmagical Scholar class. I can describe what the Scholar can do and type out the class feature feature now.

Speed of the Mind
At the 9th level, you can expend 1 uses of Genius to add your Intelligence Modifier to any Dexterity check.

Power of the Mind
At the 10th level when you hit an creature with a weapon or cantrip you can expend any number of Genius. Add 1d12 of the damage roll of the attack fr each Genius expended.

Vigor of the Mind
At the 15th level as a reaction, you can expend 2 uses of Genius to automatically succeed any Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw or gain immunity to psychic damage until the start of your next turn.
Actually writing something down actually makes it harder for WotC to do it because if they're inspired by it now they have to worry about accusations of plagiarism.

Start with ignoring anyone who demands that stuff take a 'realistic' amount of time to do. In fact, ignore anyone who says 'realistic' or 'verisimilitude'... ever.

Look, I spent like three days doing a heroic level work-up of this thing. I don't think anyone has the right to demand me or anyone else write up a 20 level ranger pro-bono to earn the 'right' to discuss things.

I'mnotasking for the whole class.

I'm asking for an single class feature. It doesn't even have to be complete nor balanced.

Just an example of something... anything... nonspellcasting ranger can do that cannot be done in current 5e which would require a class write-up.

The fact that no one after 50 pages has written anything is why the 5e ranger cast spells.

Being able to examine tracks and signs to start gaining advantages against the target, like actual hunters do.

Track: 1st level feature
you have advantage on Survival checks for tracking.

Hunters mark: 2nd level feature
Bonus action, range 150ft
You mark your target, until the then of next long rest or until you use this feature on another target you have advantage on Perception checks vs target.
Once on your turn you can deal extra damage to target equal to your proficiency bonus.
at 5th level you can mark 2 targets at once and maintain mark on 2 targets at once.
at 11th level you can mark 3 targets at once and maintain mark on 3 targets at once.
at 17th level you can mark 4 targets at once and maintain mark on 4 targets at once.

Being able to examine tracks and signs to start gaining advantages against the target, like actual hunters do.
Sigh you still don't get it. Okay. Here's my example.

STRIDER
As a strider, you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d10 per strider level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 10 + your Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d10 (or 6) + your Constitution modifier per ranger level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: Light armor, medium armor, shields
Weapons: Simple weapons, martial weapons
Tools: None
Saving Throws: Strength, Dexterity
Skills: Choose three from Animal Handling, Athletics, Insight, Investigation, Nature, Perception, Stealth, and Survival

Adept Tracker

You are particularly familiar with one type of natural environment and are adept at tracking in such regions. You have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival) to find or track a creature.

In addition, choose one type of favored terrain: arctic, coast, desert, forest, grassland, mountain, swamp, or the Underdark. If you are in your favored terrain, your proficiency modifier is doubled if you are making a Wisdom check using skill that you’re proficient.

You choose additional favored terrain types at 6th, 10th, 16th, and 20th level.

LEVEL 2 FEATURE

???

Strider Archetype

At 3rd level, you choose an archetype that you strive to emulate such as as the Battlefield Archer, Beast Stalker, Pathfinder, or Stormwarden. Your choice grants you features at 3rd level and again at 7th, 11th, and 15th level

Ability Score Improvement

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can’t increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Using the optional feats rule, you can forgo taking this feature to take a feat of your choice instead.

Extra Attack

Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Deft Tracker

At the 5th level, you can Search as bonus action.

Expert Tracker

At the 9th level, whenever you make an ability check Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival), you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10

LEVEL 11 FEATURE

????

Tracking Ace

At the 14th level, whenever you make an ability check Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival), you can ignore any penalties due to the natural environment such as rain, brush, or fog.

Master Tracker

At the 17th level, if you fail a check Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival) you can treat the d20 roll as a 20.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

It lets people vote with their wallet and resolves the debate on whether or not people will pay for it.

Until then, we're forced to complain until they give us what we want, or to find a game that will.

No it doesn't. If you have a kickstarter that raises $20,000 and has 500 backers... you don't make a print run of a product for 50,000 people. You cannot assume, in terms of market research, that those 500 are going to scale a hundred times over. And WoTC is the most profitable arm of Hasbro right now, if they aren't selling 100,000 of a product, it is likely not worth their time. The DnD community is in the MILLIONS.

What it would do is create a small, bespoke print run of a niche product they barely make a profit off of, while needing an entire small team dedicated to the entire process.

And, frankly, complaining until you leave to find another product is voting with your wallet. Offering money to back a small project isn't voting, it is investing. That was the POINT of kickstarter, to allow small creators the chance to finance good ideas they otherwise could not afford to print. And even companies that grew their success with KS like Greater Than Games still does market research to see if products are viable, which is why they canceled Prime War despite everyone saying they loved it. Because it wasn't a viable product for them to sell, even if I can almost guarantee it could have had a successful kickstarter.
