Nikosandros
Golden Procrastinator
I'll give you my distinct paladin as a class when you pry it from my cold, laying (on) hands.
Is there any innovation besides it being a little less offensive? because i love the Diablo vibes from SotDL.I believe that the Shadow of the Weird Wizard Kickstarter drops tomorrow.![]()

Thanks. It sounds like the friendlied up SotWW not just in aesthetic, but some other ways that make 5E more popular (higher power levels, less likelihood of death, more options, etc...).Take this post on another forum with a bit of salt because this reflects January in the playtesting, but it breaks down the similarities and differences between the two games.

Not only that, but Schwalb kinda talked of SotWW as his own spin on Greyhawk, Gygaxian fantasy, and D&D. Much like Zagyg represents Gygax in the setting, the Weird Wizard is very much Rob Schwalb himself.Thanks. Ah. I personally don't have any love for Greyhawk. no hate either, I just never played there. I was a BECMI (Known World) kid and until Eberron came around the only other official setting i every used was Dragonlance. Not only that, but Schwalb kinda talked of SotWW as his own spin on Greyhawk, Gygaxian fantasy, and D&D. That'd be the hard-core setting where everything really is out to kill you.Fantasy Australia sounds fun.
