I think for me, it depends on what is new.
I have zero interest in paying WOTC $100+ for milquetoast errata to fix the design flaws that should have been identified in 2014.
As much as I can understand this sentiment, some issues are only identified in extended play.
The next playtest was massive and a big part resembled the early UAs of OneD&D. Find out what people like or not. What is core to D&D. Given the budget and the number of designers/consultants/playtesters back then, 5e was and is very robust and has comparatively few real issues.
