Spirit Guardians is great in Act 2 and beyond, also IME Spike Growth is better than Black Tentacles.

Yeah I have both of those, I just want MORE.

There are no rings with +1 or more AC (AFAIK).

The Ring of Protection is from Mol if you give her the Druid Idol.
+1 AC, +1 Saving Throws.

I just realized there are no wands

Mechanically, a wand would be a club with a magical effect attached.

What the game doesn't have is magic items with charges.

There are a fair few drow in the game, usually as named NPCs, but I've only seen the one drider.

Black Tentacles is not a good spell in BG3.

Except for the broken wand of Fireball that can be used once, centered on yourself.

I guess the new patch helped cause the game
Is running better on my old laptop.

Turned on something called “slow HDD” maybe that helps too.

Also, found the Shar hospital and I find it oddly nice. I expect evil everywhere. Still killing the zombie nurses though.

An “evil deity” hospital that’s not just like a cave with blood everywhere is… refreshing.

Oddly nice? Did you find the note about proper use of anaesthetic yet?

Yeah I mean it’s still evil but it’s an actual hospital though.
