0D&D was a wargame. After it was created, it was also called an RPG, a category invented for it, and since then many more RPGs have been created, and the category is huge, the definition expansive, and few games today called TTRPGs, share the with 0D&D, the qualities that made it a wargame. Likewise, very few of 0D&D's fellow wargames could be called RPGs, even in retrospect, in spite of sharing many qualities with it.
A nwgttRPG? What is a nwgttRPG?So, you want the nwgttRPGs?
Non-WarGame Table Top RPGsomeone just handed me a straight line I'd been waiting IDK how long for in another thread, so I'll bite

If I understand correctly the length of the acronym is associated with how much fun it is (to force someone else to use for what they like).Non-WarGame Table Top RPG
Much like the old Saturday Night Live, or much other sketch comedy. A typical show of any of them would be about 25% somewhat funny, about 50% mildly amusing, and about 25% absolutely horrible, and once every few shows would be something truly brilliant.Aside from a few sketches, the original Monty Python television series wasn't very good.

It feels like the tt part of ttRPG should mean something if it's going to be an even vaguely meaningful descriptor?
