Here is the October 6th, 2023 Friday Freebie map. This is the rooftop level that continues from last week’s Friday Enhanced map. Next week will be the dungeon level. Click to enlarge.







Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 48x56 10' Squares (72 dpi) or 72x92 5' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1700x2025
  • This is the upper level that continues from last week’s Friday Enhanced map (Sep 29 2023).
  • The white triangular shapes on the walls represent arrow slits.
  • The grey sections represent the outer area (including the balconies from the lower level and the open central section that leads to the lower level as well).
  • The stairs at areas 1, 5, 15, and 27 go down.
  • There are statues at areas 6, 9, 12, 14, 20, 22, 27, 31, and outside on the ground level.
  • Areas 19, 20, 22, and 27 represent open rooftop with the white squares along the edges being parapets.
  • Area 20 has a half dais over-looking the open area below. Perhaps sacrifices would walk up the dais and then step off to fall to their deaths below.
  • Area 22 has an altar on a dais. This dais is slightly higher than the dais at area 20.

This mega dungeon brings up an adjacent question Tim/ @Turgenev - have you ever done a series of islands? Islands with buildings on it (like your villages sequence from the other day) - or islands with dungeons dug into them? Could be cool...
