Worst suggestions so far and I’ve heard some bad ones.

The movies and tv shows that marvel is making other than guardians have been terrible since endgame

This is a movie with 3 female lead and it’s bombing with women while Barbie set records

Stranger things is a well acted show and every season has been very popular. Personally I would watch it again over

Yellowstone-older actor taking show to award winning. Strong female lead. Same director now takes a 75 year old has been actor and show has been renewed for season 2

Please tell me why not good ideas. Stranger things has a super hero and probably would make a ton of money plus weren’t the directors approached for Star Wars

No press tour, so no surprise that Marvels is under performing.

They should have just waited for the actor's strike to end before releasing this. While I think superhero fatigue is real wall to wall interviews on ABC in the US could have nudged that 65% male demographic into something more balanced.

I would've loved to see Iman's excitement about everything on a press tour!

But, Marvel Studios has never cared about what few female characters it has, so it isn't surprising if they just decided to send this out to die - 'welp, it did terribly, let's never do that again, time to kill them off so our male characters have an excuse to mourn'.

No press tour, so no surprise that Marvels is under performing.

No press tour is a poor excuse (my opinion). The announcement alone should spark interest. Positive reviews etc. I didn’t care that Tom cruise was on a press tour for top gun or etc.

A trailer dropped tonight for rebel moon on Netflix. Could be a total disaster of a movie but it looks way better than any post endgame movies other than guardians. There’s no press tour for this

If Taylor swift announced tonight that she has a cameo in the marvels end credits I bet it doubles it’s turnout the following weekend

It’s hard to accept that’s this just isn’t good for the money invested

Damn look like it came in the low end of the opening predictions. It had been on a downward spiral last few weeks when it was projected in the 70-75 million range.

YS and Tulsa King are awful. Do you really think Marvel needs geriatric leads? It’s popular because they leaned into current “used to be rancher” American fad right now. Just tons of filler like Sons of Anarchy on horses. Crap people watch because P+ has so little to offer. That’s not even to mention how far away from the supers genre these shows are.

Stranger Things is a horror comedy that leans into fan service. It’s specific and not general like Marvel. Look I don’t deny that supers flicks got problems right now, but simply taking orange vendors to improve apple sales isn’t a strategy worth listening to.

I was talking about the rest. The DCAU was great but far from perfect in how it handled a number of its characters.

Indeed. Marvel have already done that. There is no way to win here. Reed Richards will be inevitably be viewed as a second rate Tony Stark knock-off.

Superheroes on exist because comics. They have whacky outfits so they can be easily recognised in simple drawings. They don't need movies, and movies don't need them. Action heroes can wear clothes that make sense in movies.
