I think I’ve been bitten by the DCC bug. I suddenly find their stuff really compelling and I’m still feeling grumpy towards hasbro. I signed up to get notified for the backerkit launch in a month. Now I’m going to go read the quick start pdf. What am I getting myself into??

What am I getting myself into??
Tons of fun. The game is straightforward and the core is familiar and light. The book is a massive tome that could stop a bullet or stop a charging bull with a good swing. The bulk of the book is magic spells and tables. The Judge is firmly in charge and encouraged to make up stuff and run with it. The modules are fantastic gonzo fun. To me, it is the best D&D-adjascent game at capturing the madness that was playing D&D in the mid-80s. And the art is spectacular.
