Let her cook.
So I found Viconia. I've seen a lot of gruff online about how different she is from BG1-2. Lack of accent aside.
I hear Saravok is the same way.
Here is what I think, i could be wrong
The canon group of BG1 is: Gorion's Ward, Jaheria, Khalied, Imoen, Minsc, and Dinaheir. While you do encounter many many MANY other NPCs who can join your party doesn't mean they actually did.
Perhaps you saved Vic but never encountered her again until BG2. So she never learned to "chill out" because she was still alone and more suseptable to Shar's desires.
Not much needs to be said about Saravok in BG1.
Come BG2, its the same thing. You can find Vic and send her on her way. Again alone and walking furhter down the path of Shar.
Saravok, sure you can rescue him but have a falling out and he goes his own way. He never really changes during Throne of Bhaal. He never really grows or changes and it seems fair that he would go back to old habits.
I can't really speak for Saravok though as I havent encounted him in 3 yet.
But Vicc, yeah it kind of hurts. She was the main NPC I romanced in the original games but playing her romance all the way out doesn't really end well for her. So yeah, more than likely The Ward sends her on her way and she becomes a real female dog.
Which again makes since for The Ward who canon was either a TN or NG character who probably wouldn't put up with the evil attitudes of Vic and Sar.
