Well, how much cheesecake do you really need in a gaming book? Especially when there's so much already available online. And of you have male-identifying artists drawing women for female-identifying players or non-binary artists drawing cheesecake art?
Apparently for you the answer is zero, for everyone.Well, how much cheesecake do you really need in a gaming book? Especially when there's so much already available online.
I, for one, am happy that D&D moved beyond the racist and sexist Conan-style art before I started playing the game.Apparently for you the answer is zero, for everyone.
That's not an answer.Apparently for you the answer is zero, for everyone.
Honestly? A couple of pieces tops.Well, how much cheesecake do you really need in a gaming book? Especially when there's so much already available online.
You cannot be serious. Please explain in what way Descent into Avernus, Ravenloft, Icewind Dale, and Netherdeep are “Disney Heroic” without cherry-picking the two or three cute/silly images from the books.Honestly? A couple of pieces tops.
Why? To reflect that there is actually a diverse approach to the game instead of Disney Heroic, and nothing but.
D&D art really hasn't grabbed me since 2nd edition and it's not because of a lack of cheesecake. My most favorite art I can remember from back then didn't really involve a lot of cheesecake. And honestly, I didn't think AD&D was all that bad when it came to cheesecake. You can certainly cherry pick examples, but when you take it in the aggregate it wasn't all that bad. Are there even any examples of chainmail bikinis in AD&D? I remember some boob windows in armor. Where was I?I'm not really sure that we need airbrush van art in the game anymore though.

5e art has stylistic and thematic diversity. You’re just upset that there’s not any girls in bikinis.
