The Abyss, because you can always make up new ones.

Back when I was a kid making up D&D monsters I always had them be demons, because there could always be an Abyssal layer you could stick them in that the Manual of the Planes hadn't mentioned.

I like Neutral Good, the True Good alignment. It prioritizes Good above all, and negotiates both Lawful groups and Chaotic indivudals toward the higher purpose of Good.

I tend to be fond of ways to visualize Good within the scapes of Elysium.

Elysium is a place within the Astral mindscape, whose cultures (including subcultures) optimize and juggle between Lawful groupism and Chaotic individualism.

Elysium is a place where paradoxical regulations find their place, such as "laws" that enforce "personal freedoms" for everyone. Human rights. Etcetera.

Elysium is the place to explore various concepts about utopias.

I love the great Oceanus. A plane to itself flowing thru the rest of Elysium like a network of streams and rivers. It is Positive Energy itself flowing into the multiverse as if lifegiving water. Its waters pool to form the infinite lake of Thalassia. The rivers and streams of Oceanus spill into all of the other planes of existence, albeit into the Fiendish realms via the Styx. From its Positive Energy, the entirety of the multiverse is made. All that exists is made out of its Energy.

In the context of primordial Energy becoming all that exists, Elysium is especially magical. It is a realm of angels of magic. Angels of psionic cosmic consciousness, angels of arcane elemental creations. Mind and body in harmony. Utopias of Wizards and Psions are at home here. It is a magic of magic, where all magical traditions are rivers pouring from the same magical source. Here, the Arcane magic is True Good and holy. The Psionic mindscape gravitates toward manifestations of physical material reality. Mind over matter, wishes become true.

Where "humanity is the measure of all things", Elysium feels most salient where anthropocentric, the Human species being the center. There are civilizations and wildernesses integrating each other seemlessly in harmony within the utopias of Human mindscapes. Members of the Human species are being the best versions of themselves, and working together among conflicting but benevolent worldviews. The legal system negotiates among individuals, usefully and voluntarily without coercion.

Every plane has both civilization and wilderness, both humans and animals. I am ok with GCG (Good by Chaotic Good) Beastlands being zoocentric, mainly animals and wilderness with remote communities, sometimes nomadic. Egyptianesque civilizations of animal-headed beings are also within Beastland. GLG Bitopia centers around the Gnome species, with lower layer being industrious villages − the joy of work, artisanry and productivity − while the upper layer is infinite raw natural resources. By contrast, Elysium is technology and self-sustaining ecology, both in harmony with each other.

Elysium is True Good. All things work together for the purpose of Good. The place is especially about Humans, creative magic, wholeness, negotiation, cooperation, harmony − and utopian ideals.
