D&D (2024) Another D&D 2024 Monster Preview: The Kuo-Toa!

Following the ancient green dragon preview, here's a look at another iconic D&D monster from the 2025 Monster Manual!

I like having the armor type noted. Makes it easier to recalculate in the case I want to change what they might using (or determine if they're wearing metal armor if the Druid gets pesky).

What I notice:

• Armor isn't mentioned by the AC (though we see it has a shield from it's reaction)
• Lost the bite attack
• Spear is now named "Strange"
• Net is now added adverb "Sticky"

• Added random table for deity attributes
• Lore has been reworded, seems more generic (removed FR specific lore?).

That lore in the 2014 MM is generic, nothing FR-specific about it at all.

I like the new lore better than the older 5 lore. That is a surprise.

I am fond of kuo toa back the their cool art on the 1e under dark modules…

I have a lot of kuo toa minis on tap with a preorder of Eve of ruin minis…I am a fan of this one
