No, not announced means not announced.
So lets break this down:
It's not announced. If they were in the process of making a game, then it would make sense to announce it along with the show. Now, perhaps if the show does well, they might then produce a game. But this isnt likely as game production takes years. Lets be generous and say 2 years. Even if all they had was an intention of producing a game, they would have announced it with the show. It's just simple marketing. If the show does so well as to warrant another series, then perhaps a game will go along with that, but then again, given the perceived shakiness of the Star Wars property, who's to say. I would certainly like to see this premise as a game. But as a show, meh.

discovered this just last night, and I'm really suprised at how great it is.
I think this is my favourite Star Wars show

No, because they do not know if the show will be popular, nor if the game will be any good. Hundreds of games get abandoned before they get close to the stage of being announced. Announcing something then cancelling it generates a shedload of negative publicity, no matter how crap the game was shaping up to be, so ideally you want to avoid an announcement until you are ready to start your marketing push.

All you can conclude from there not being an announcement yet is that there will be no game released in the next month or two, and probably not in time for Christmas.

I do feel like the way they intentionally leave the story wide open at the end means they plan on doing something with it. There is no way this is a one-off spin-off.

I am still waiting for the day when we have a true virtual LEGO game that is basically Minecraft with LEGO. But because people are immature and legacy companies like LEGO value their image it may never happen.

Have you seen Fortnite: LEGO? It is free, and very child-friendly, easier than Minecraft.

I guess we will see a second season because the answer has been very positive, the audience "having fun like dwarves" ( = like little children). My suggestion is to add elements from Legends, for example Mara Jade and the Yuuzhan Vong.

Maybe this could "save" the franchise and to help to recover the lost popularity.
