Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

It seems clear to me from Agatha's reaction both times that she cannot hear him. She did not have any witnesses at the time, so she should try again now that she has others around (but I know they won't, at least not until a dramatic moment).

I'm not at all sure she'd want the other witches to hear what he had to say on the relevant topics.

There were some elements of this episode that made me think of a combination escape room/haunted attraction given the time of year it is. That isn't particularly an insult from me.

There really was not enough in this episode to merit a whole episode to just this... "trial" that did not really even test anything. Except my patience for the potion making witch forgetting she can make potions..?

Not a great experience. I'm not really looking forwards to 4 more escape room episodes. Especially if we continue to not learn anything about the characters, just have them running around flailing like they are regular commoners trapped in a house, rather than hundred+ year old witches.

I suppose it's a test of their knowledge and ability to coordinate.

Their hallucinations did provide some insights, but it's more a trickle than a flood in that regard.

Also, the episode did nothing to make me start liking any of the characters or caring about their success or welfare.

Ah yeah, very valid point.

I'm just here for Agatha to be scheming something, so I don't need to care about the others... but I am surprised that they all still seem to be this same, vague, somewhat dislikeable blob? There's not one that's clearly an ancient witch, another that's hostile towards Agatha but bonding with the others to guard against her, one that's cold but practical, or warm but unpractical... they're just being there, instead of being there with personality traits that reasonably push them towards certain actions.

(okay, Sharon had more noticeable traits, but she also started the episode swinging between being happy to be included and accusing them of kidnapping her when she walked in there on her own and back to being happy to be included, so that gets murky)

Something like that.
