yeah I can all but guarantee that they're not doing the comic book version of the Salem SevenIn the comics the Salem Seven are Agatha's grandchildren and Teen is looking a little young to have fathered a whole gaggle.
I've watched all three episodes. It's kinda fun. Not wildly entertaining and definitely not profoundly emotional or thought-provoking. I'm invested enough to watch the next episode, but I don't really care about any of the characters. Production value is very high. Actors are good.
So standard current-period Marvel, thus far. Hopefully they step it up.
One thing I definitely do not give a crap about is whether or not Mephisto is involved, or any other easter eggs. Just give me a good story. Right now, it's an okay story without much stakes.
Considering how flat-out goofy they are, that's probably for the best if they want any hope of being taken seriously. For a group created in 1977 they sure do have a Bad Nineties Comic vibe going on, especially with "Thornn" and "Vakume" around. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, this is Marvel we're talking about and Lee & Kirby's "Blastaar" is even more awkwardly edgy and a good ten years older than they are.yeah I can all but guarantee that they're not doing the comic book version of the Salem Seven
I liked She-Hulk too but it had one big, green problem: I thought the scenes where Jennifer was not hulked out were generally better.I really enjoyed "She Hulk" and was sad it got cancelled.
The hallucinations were hinting at something a bit darker and creepier. I think the midwest country club vibe in episode 3 was just because it was the potions witch's trial.I really was hoping for more horror vibes from the show, more Something Wicked this Way Comes or even Hocus Pocus rather than the bright midwest country club approach theyve taken so far
Just a warning, if you see something on the web about the FunkoPop figures for this show, if you hate spoilers, stay away; they ended up having two, one that I suspect wouldn't be a surprise for anyone, and one that certainly caught me offguard.
It has happened so many times, in the past, that you think they would lock down that crap better.I mentioned this earlier too, but still ended up getting spoiled on Twitter.
I gotta say, Funko-Pop is such a weird way to have a reveal spoiled.
