D&D General You Can Now Make Greyhawk Stuff On DM's Guild!

Greyhawk_Legacy.png

As of today, third party creators can publish and sell material set in the World of Greyhawk! Dating back to the dawn of Dungeons & Dragons, Greyhawk has an entire chapter devoted to it in the new 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide.

Right now you can check out some legacy official content from Wizards of the Coast, but expect more to start appearing there as soon as the third party creators get their teeth into it.

As for the nameless one, no ... we don't summon that doom upon ourselves by voicing the name and taking the chance that the endless sleep will be disturbed, for those dreams alone are enough to shake this world.
The Nameless One's just a dude. Sure, a powerful dude, who keeps getting resurrected due to a deal he made with a night hag, and who can't remember most of his past lives but it seems he was a bit of a (bleep) in many of them, but still just a dude.

I also don't see what a Planescape character has to do with Greyhawk.

Castle Greyhawk is just one of those things that, if we ever get it, cannot possibly live up to what we have conjured in our imaginations.
That's true...but it would be neat if someone like Rob Kuntz or Luke Gygax took the opportunity to do something similar to what Ed Greenwood has done with FR products on the DMsGuils, or Keith Bakrr for Eberron.

Or anyone with 40 year old dungeons that saw years of play in Greyhawk.

Rob is very particular about ownership of his writing. I strongly doubt he’d take up the chance. As a consumer of Greyhawk-adjacent content, I would love otherwise.
