D&D (2024) Kobold Press posts 2024 DMG Hit Piece

Look, some of us cut our teeth on Twitter, where D&D is crap and people who play D&D are stupid sheeple and if you don't play Pathfinder instead you're an ignorant phillistine; this barely registers on the Richter scale.
Man, Twitter at its height had so many communities. I literally never saw any of that, since I was in completely different bubbles.

And I think we can be almost guaranteed that 99% of the missing 2014 subclasses (not you, twilight cleric) will be reappearing in 2025 and 2026. And I wouldn't count on Monsters of the Multiverse not getting stripped for parts, either.
for that matter Volos and Tome of Foes already got recycled into MotM…

yes, I am expecting at least the races from MotM to be revisited, along with most missing subclasses from the PHB, Xanathar and Tasha. A new compatible core is a great way to recycle content without needing a lot of effort

According to the article, the Midgard world information is contained in a separate book, not in their DMG (with a convenient link to buy it for just $50). Which I'm sure is an approach that WotC could've followed without anyone accusing them of spreading out content in order to milk more money out consumers... sometimes you're damned if you do, damned if you don't
WotC could have fit a lot of stuff in their new DMG if the Greyhawk material was in a separate book.

Just saying.
