It's the proper pronunciation of the word, of course. So it's an easy mistake to make if a given person is familiar with the word but doesn't know that the NBA team's name is pronounced differently.I don't even like basketball but this one really gets me when people call the team's name with a hard C

What I meant was I prefer the soft C for the team and the hard C if talking about the actual Celts
..... I am so glad we aren't talking about Detroit.
I think uniformity is better, and we just have everyone using the hard C...... I am so glad we aren't talking about Detroit.
