What fantasy creatures migrate with the seasons?

Predators that hunt migratory species would also migrate which creates a lot of opportunities for any carnivorous species to be migratory in specific locales even if not generally migratory.

Assume all cold-based creatures come out of the mountains/arctic to hunt. Yeti, rhemoraz, thanoi, frost giants, etc all are eager to get down the tasty yummy snacks found in the lands of the receding snows.

By the same token heat-based creatures can show up in the height of summer when the temps are suitably sweltering. Fire giants, salamanders, maybe bands of azer.

Then you have the solitary types that only get together to mate and/or need something special to eat (e.g. Peryton needing human/elf hearts)

(Edit: de- autocorrected Azer)

I always liked the Mythos take on Ithaqua as ruler of an alien planet who periodically comes to the Arctic but finds earth too hot to remain. I could see a number of Abberations being similar migratory creatures who hunt and then leave for the depths of space. Imc Flumphs are stranded aliens, maybe theyre awaiting the next portal home which opens in 2754 years

Now I want to have a whole forest of treants migrate through otherwise settled farmlands, and the forest is home to ettercaps and spiders.

A recent campaign of mine featured a migrating forest that had a profound impact on the region. (The earth behind the forest was especially fertile and almost pre-tilled.) We had a lot of fun with the idea. In this case, though, the trees were not fully sapient.
